Like any relationship, artists must always strive to keep the passion alive between their music and fans. An evolving style and wave of new songs are a part of the bill, however it is important to go beyond the standard. Consider your merchandise, think outside of the box. Seize upcoming holidays and events as a means for introducing exclusive items.

Take Father’s Day for instance, while most gifts consist of clothing, jewelry and cologne, why not create an item that caters to some of dad’s recreational activities like music. Guitar picks designed with artist logos are one of many ideas that should keep any fan reminded that good music is at their fingertips.

Seize the upcoming holidays. There are plenty of opportunities for tying in your brand but always consider your target market and how the products relate to those fans. Take time to brainstorm ideas for keeping your brand fresh. Stay relevant and always seek to evolve your craft.
